It all began in the 1970’s when George Sargeant began appraising homes in Rutland County, and started growing his practice throughout the state. Later joined by his son, Sean Sargeant, the business took off bringing in more commercial work and diverse lines of business, meeting the needs of rural Vermonters throughout the region. While not a Sargeant by blood, Michael Foster Farbman, is fostering this Vermont tradition by continuing the services that Sean has provided for the last couple of decades.
